Slip Collar - Golden Meadow

Slip Collar:

Simply slide the slip collar over your dog's head. The collar sits comfortably around the neck. When pressure is applied to the collar/leash, the collar tightens up to the stop knot, ensuring your dog cannot slip out of it. The stop knot prevents the collar from becoming too tight, keeping your dog both comfortable and safe.

Collar Measurement Instructions

Use a measuring tape to measure your dog's neck circumference, make sure you can still fit 2 fingers between the measuring tape and your dog's neck.

Ordering the the correct size is very important, because:

• A collar that is too tight can cause breathing difficulties for your dog.
• A collar that is too loose can reduce control and even allow your dog to escape.

The right size ensures both comfort and safety for your dog, so it’s super important!

⚠️ Important: Not suitable for all dogs

Slip collars are not suitable for every dog. These collars tighten when there is tension on the leash. For dogs with a broad neck compared to their head, such as certain small and medium breeds, a slip collar can easily slip off, even if the dog isn’t pulling. This increases the risk of escape or unsafe situations during walks.

• Small breeds: French Bulldog, Pug, Shih Tzu, Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Boston Terrier

• Medium breeds: Staffordshire Bull Terrier, Beagle, English Bulldog, Cocker Spaniel

• Large breeds: Labrador Retriever, Rottweiler, American Bulldog, Mastiff, Golden Retriever
